We are excited to announce an opportunity within our legal department for the position of Junior Lawyer. As we continue to grow and evolve, we seek a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is eager to start their legal career and develop expertise in corporate law.
Qualifications
- Higher Education in Law: A degree in law (recent graduates are welcome to apply).
- Work Experience: Prior legal experience or internships will be considered an advantage, but are not required.
- Interest in Corporate Law: Strong motivation to learn and gain practical knowledge in areas such as corporate governance, contract law, labor law, intellectual property, tax, civil, migration, and administrative matters.
- Contract Drafting Skills: Willingness to learn how to draft and review contracts with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Corporate Documentation: Readiness to assist in preparing corporate documents for commercial and non-commercial entities, such as founding documents, charters, and amendments.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required. Knowledge of French will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting senior lawyers in corporate and commercial matters.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements under supervision.
- Supporting compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assisting in preparation of corporate documentation for companies and NGOs.
- Conducting legal research and preparing summaries or memos.
- Supporting legal due diligence and identifying potential issues under guidance.
- Assisting with matters relating to labor law, intellectual property, taxation, and migration procedures.
