Located in the heart of the city center and within the ultra-luxury Artlife Kempinski Residences Yerevan, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead the pre-opening, operational launch, and ongoing development of our restaurants and bars, ensuring world-class service, operational excellence, and an exceptional guest experience.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for more than a professional with restaurant management experience. We are looking for a responsible and proactive leader who can effectively organize the team, maintain high service standards, and contribute to the development of the business.
This role is suited to a professional who is ready to be involved in the key aspects of the restaurant’s operations, work closely with the team, and use their experience to contribute to the restaurant’s sustainable growth and success.
Role Mission:
Create the #1 iconic steakhouse in the region and make it one of the World’s Top 50 — not through budget, but through energy, taste, hospitality, and an outstanding culture within the team.
Scope of Responsibility:
Strategy:
- Build a unique hospitality model: emotional, contemporary, legendary.
- Transform the steakhouse into a gastronomic destination for the world.
Operations:
- Build the Dream Team — from the kitchen to the front of house.
- Maintain quality control at the level of the world’s top restaurants.
- Set up the operational model like a Swiss watch: precision, speed, and transparency.
Finance:
- Maximize revenue without compromising the meaning and soul of the project.
- Optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Maintain monthly reporting.
Marketing & Guest:
- Build a community and culture around the restaurant.
- Build personal relationships with VIP guests and regular clients.
- Turn every visit into an event.
Who We Are Looking for in Terms of Character:
- An owner-minded professional with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- A leader who knows how to train, inspire, and demand excellence.
- A true food enthusiast who genuinely enjoys meat, wine, service, and restaurant culture.
- Someone who can speak the same language with a millionaire, a farmer, and a front-of-house intern.
Experience & Competencies:
- 5+ years of successful experience.
- Experience in working with steakhouse or meat-focused restaurants - a huge plus.
- Experience in working in an international environment.
- Knowledge of languages: Russian, English, and preferably Armenian.
- Willingness to live in Yerevan and build your own little gastronomic story there.
