Description
FLYONE ARMENIA is looking for a Claims Specialist to join its professional team.
Responsibilities
- Receiving, registering, and reviewing passenger claims and inquiries;
- Analyzing circumstances related to flight delays, cancellations, baggage issues, refunds, and other cases related to air transportation;
- Preparing official responses to passengers, government authorities, and other relevant stakeholders;
- Coordinating with Operations, Commercial, Airport, and other departments to obtain the necessary information;
- Reviewing documents and data related to bookings, tickets, flights, and ancillary services;
- Assessing the validity of compensation and refund claims in accordance with applicable rules and legislation;
- Handling inquiries from government authorities and preparing relevant explanations and responses;
- Maintaining the claims database, monitoring response deadlines, and preparing reports;
- Cooperating with the Legal Department on complex and disputed cases.
Requirements
- University degree, preferably in Law;
- Previous experience in the aviation industry will be a significant advantage;
- Experience in handling claims, customer inquiries, or working in a legal environment;
- Knowledge of consumer protection and/or air transportation legislation will be an advantage;
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with documents and large volumes of information;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Armenian, Russian, and English;
- Strong business correspondence skills;
- High attention to detail, responsibility, and ability to meet deadlines;
- Ability to handle conflict situations and provide well-grounded solutions;
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Will Be Considered an Advantage:
- Practical experience working for an airline, airport, or travel company;
- Knowledge of conditions of carriage and airline ticket refund and exchange rules;
- Experience handling passenger claims related to flight delays/cancellations, baggage, and ancillary services;
- Knowledge of international regulations and conventions governing air transportation, including the Montreal Convention;
- Experience communicating with government authorities and preparing official responses.

According to a report prepared by the Institute for European Policy and Reform (IPRE), FLYONE is recognized as the most punctual domestic company. From January to July 2024, the company achieved the best results in terms of takeoffs and landings performed at Chisinau International Airport.
In 2024, FLYONE launched two new international destinations - Prague and Manchester - in response to growing passenger demand.
The expansion strategy continues in 2025, when the company is in the process of launching 7 attractive routes: Palma de Mallorca, Bremen, Alicante, Copenhagen, Turin, Stuttgart and Lyon, diversifying travel options for customers.
