Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial person to oversee and manage the financial operations across multiple business units within our holding company, which includes a portfolio of restaurants, an event hall, and retail shops. This role is critical in providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring robust financial controls, maximizing profitability, and supporting sustainable growth across the group.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for all business units.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics across each business segment, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for all entities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Manage cash flow across the group to ensure liquidity and optimize working capital.
- Oversee banking relationships and negotiate terms for financing or credit facilities when needed.
Operational Support
- Work closely with operational managers of restaurants, event venues, and retail shops to understand business drivers and challenges.
- Analyze costs and profitability per unit or concept, identifying areas for improvement.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a small finance team across the group or subsidiaries.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and financial discipline.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 3 in a senior leadership role.
- Prior experience in hospitality, F&B or retail sectors is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
- Proficient in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on operational insight.
