Job Description
As Business Controller for Armenia, you will support stakeholders in Operations and HR working in our studio.
With your solid understanding of the business, you will work within the planning cycle to support the budget and forecast process and provide financial analysis, simulations, and reporting in support of various projects and business cases. In addition, you will provide managers ongoing guidance and coaching to support decision-making.

The role is based in Yerevan, Armenia and is part of the global BC team and reports to the Senior Business Controller located in Latvia.
Job Responsibilities
- Cooperation, analysis, and support to stakeholders in Operations and HR in budget and forecasting processes, ad-hoc projects and pre and post-financial decision making.
- Collaboration with the Financial teams and global Business Controller teams.
- Regular ongoing data collection, analysis and reporting.
- Continuous investigation of operational costs and cost drivers; identification of cost savings and efficiency gains.
- Development of various tools and systems, used by the teams, e.g. – PowerBI reporting.
- Establish and continuously improve a process for data quality processing.
- Work with the Senior Business Controller in various projects and provide ongoing support as required.
Required Qualifications
- Higher academic or professional education relevant to the job.
- Good command of English language (both written and spoken).
- Proven experience as a Business Controller preferably supporting teams in more than one geographical location in mid-size organizations (international experience is a merit, start-up/entrepreneurial cultures is a merit).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, good knowledge of accounting systems (Navision is a merit) and accounting rules, (experience of Power BI or similar data visualization tools is a merit).
- Be highly analytical, resilient, and focused with strong organization skills.
- Be able to see the big picture and able to identify the details crucial for the big picture.
- Be an excellent communicator and an efficient networker/team player with good persuasion skills (managing and understanding differences in a multicultural environment is an advantage).
- Experience of coaching managers at all levels as an expert as well as excellence in stakeholder management.
- Be a self-starter, a fast learner who enjoys taking own initiatives.
- Be adaptable and agile, can work in a fast-paced environment and respond and re-prioritize quickly when internal or external changes demand.
- Possess a high level of curiosity with solutions oriented and problem-solving mindset.
