After-Hours Support Dispatcher (Car Hauling)

Description

We are looking for an experienced After-Hours Support Dispatcher to join our team. This is an office-based night shift position, supporting our car hauling operations during after-hours. The ideal candidate has proven experience in car hauling dispatch, understands both open and enclosed transport operations, and is confident working with Central Dispatch and Super Dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support ongoing car hauling operations during after-hours
• Coordinate with drivers to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
• Respond promptly to delays, breakdowns, reschedules, and other operational issues
• Book and update loads through Central Dispatch, Super Dispatch, and direct customers when needed
• Communicate with brokers, customers, and drivers to ensure smooth operations
• Update dispatch systems, rate confirmations, BOLs, and other required paperwork

Requirements

• Proven car hauling dispatch experience is REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of Central Dispatch and Super Dispatch
• Experience with both open and enclosed trailer operations
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
