Sommelier - Wine enthusiast

Gini Pig, Armenia's favourite Wine bar is looking for a Sommelier to join our team! You should be fluent in Russian/English OR Armenian/English. You should have Sommelier Accreditation or at least have some passion and experience in Armenian Wines. We are searchng for someone with personality, eccentricity! and creativity, we love individualism however we also need a team player... HOURLY WAGE + SPLIT TIPS... WE DO NOT HAVE A SERVICE FEE!!! THIS IS AN EVENING JOB 6PM - MIDNIGHT (12AM)

Responsibilities

• Recommending food and wine pairings
• Selecting and purchasing wines
• Supervising wine serving
• Monitor wine inventory
• Sell and upsell wine to guests
• Train waitstaff
• Assist and serve customers
• Negotiating prices with vendors
• General cleaning duties

Requirements

• education - Sommelier Accreditation or Work Experience
• work experience - not imperative, must have knowledge and passion
• skills and qualifications - at least some experience in serving wine or knowledge about Armenian grape varieties and flavours etc.
• nice-to-haves - well mannered, mature, reliability, self-motivation, initiative. Individual should be well groomed and take pride in their appearance.

PAY: 1000 DRAM an HOUR + SPLIT TIPS!!!
