Director of Sales and Marketing

Overall responsible for year to year increase of revenues of each hotel and restaurant.

• Preparation of sales budgets
• Pricing
• New products/offers/activities/attractions development and implementation
• All kinds of promotional activities

General responsibilities for Sales and Marketing

• Preparation and implementation of annual marketing and actions plan
• Preparation of the Department budget
• Conduct Monthly Company Marketing Meeting for the management and repot on the implementation plan and impact on sales
• Conduct Direct and Indirect management of marketing and sales staff as well as any sales related staff and activities including development of procedures, discount strategies.
• Coordinate with Reservations and F&B Departments to reach highest possible sales
• Clearly keep track for tour group sales, corporate and events sales, direct/individual sales , on-line sales
• Keep Digital Marketing as a separate direction. Make sure on fastest growth of company exposition and different on-line sales cannels
• Personally conduct traditional marketing and PR activities in accordance with annual plan.
• Control existing/established attributed of the Brand including style, images, colors etc

Specific responsibilities

• End-of-the year report on all activities and corresponding impact of each activity on the sales and revenue increase
• Development of new activities and facilities
• Participation in international trade shows to impact the decision the outside tour operators on hotel selection in Armenia as well as to establish/increase direct incoming business

Desired Skills and Experience

REQUIRED TRAINING/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Must have min 5 years’ experience in sales field, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Bachelor Degree or Appropriate Certificate in Hospitality/Service field
• Must have leadership qualities
• MBA preferred

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Knowledge of Armenian, English and Russian is a must
• Must be able to organize time effectively
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be team oriented
• Must be able to close successful business deals
• Must be able to work flexible and extended hours
