Maid

Description

Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain lodging establishment room in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replacing linens, cleaning rooms and halls and vacuuming.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, corridors and maid-rooms.
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
• Change, normally, one day yes one day no, all the used towels and linens or if they are dirty every day they have to be changed.
• All liquid products have to be changed when they are finished( for example if the guest uses these but does not finish them, and is left in the shower, we have to leave these on the shower and put another one on the bathroom desk.
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean and tidy.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Sweep, scrub, wax or polish floors, using brooms, mops and powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture or draperies, using vacuum cleaners or shampooers.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
• Hang draperies and dust window blinds.
• Deliver and retrieve laundry to from the guest
• Ensure privacy of guest
