IT Senior Auditor

Description

• Identify potential IT risks and related issues by applying knowledge of IT industry trends;
• Participate in developing and implementing a detailed audit plan that takes into consideration risk assessment, goals and objectives of management;
• Finding ways to expand coverage and efficiencies for audit projects by identifying opportunities for the application of computer supported audit techniques;
• Maintaining appropriate working relationships with Bank’s personnel;
• Following department and professional standards, plan, develop and execute IT audit projects created to provide accurate assessment of operational performance and internal control processes;
• Assembling the draft audit report, seeing that all point sheets have a disposition, and determining those findings to be included in the report or those to be handled as minor findings;
• Presenting and communicating audit findings at the audit meeting and drafting the audit report;
• Continuously improving the audit work processes and procedures;
• Pursuing professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and sharing information gained with co-workers;
• Continuously follow up on IT related audit issues.

Requirements

• BA in Computer Science or in other related fields;
• Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in Auditing Firm/ Financial Services/ Banking Industry;
• Audit certification (CISA, CRISC, other) is a major plus;
• Fluency in speaking and writing in English and in Armenian languages;
• Have analytical and problem solving skills;
• Ability to write detailed documents, presentation and executive reports with recommendation;
• Proficiency in applying auditing standards and accounting principles, and the ability of understanding management principles in order to recognize and evaluate the materiality and significance of deviations from best business practices.
