Description
We are looking for a versatile Technical Engineer to join our team. This role combines technical expertise for a service center with responsibilities as part of an IT integrator, focusing on deploying, maintaining, and supporting enterprise IT solutions. The position also involves engaging in technical pre-sales activities to design and propose solutions tailored to client needs.
Responsibilities
- Technical Support and Service Center Operations:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Perform maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting for data center equipment.
- Maintain detailed documentation of service activities and ensure prompt issue resolution.
- IT Integration Projects:
- Deploy, configure, and optimize a wide range of enterprise IT solutions, including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud, and backup systems.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and post-deployment support for integrated solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure seamless implementation and adoption of solutions.
- Technical Pre-Sales Support:
- Partner with the sales team to analyze client requirements and propose tailored solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept implementations.
- Develop and review solution designs, including detailed specifications and cost estimates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) is a plus
- Proven experience working with enterprise IT infrastructure and data center solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking, storage, compute, virtualization, cloud platforms, and backup technologies.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in technical pre-sales or solution design is a plus.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., data center, networking, virtualization, or cloud certifications) are highly desirable.
