We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Stock Backtesting Assistant and Computer Programmer. This is a remote, work from home position where you can choose your own hours. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and executing backend programming strategies for our proprietary trading models. Additionally, you will help implement and optimize algorithms that drive our investment strategies.


  • Conduct backtesting and simulation of trading strategies using historical market data.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of quantitative models and algorithms.
  • Write clean, efficient code in languages such as Python, EasyLanguage (Tradestation), C++, R, or MATLAB for data analysis and algorithm implementation.
  • Perform data cleaning, validation, and analysis to ensure the accuracy and reliability of backtesting results.
  • Collaborate with traders and developers to refine strategies based on backtesting outcomes and market conditions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments in quantitative finance and algorithmic trading.


  • Preferred- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or related fields
  • Proficiency in backend programming languages commonly used in quantitative finance and data analysis (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
  • Experience with financial data analysis, backtesting, and algorithmic trading concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in financial services or a related industry is preferred but not required.
