Description

A Logistic Accountant is responsible for managing and recording the financial transactions related to logistics operations, including transportation, inventory movement, warehousing, and supply chain expenses. The role ensures accurate cost tracking, invoice processing, reconciliation, and financial reporting to support efficient logistics management.

Responsibilities

• Record and monitor logistics-related expenses, including freight, transportation, customs, and warehouse costs.
• Process and verify supplier, carrier, and logistics service invoices.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable related to logistics activities.
• Track shipment costs and analyze transportation expenses.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory-related financial transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and cost analyses for logistics operations.
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and company procedures.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for logistics costs.
• Maintain documentation for audits and financial reviews.

Requirements

• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Experience with logistics, supply chain, or transportation accounting.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• knowledge of Russian and English is required
