Courtyard By Marriott Yerevan International Hotel is dedicated to providing our guests with exceptional hospitality and a clean, welcoming environment. We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team and uphold our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Supervising Staff:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping staff.
    • Schedule and allocate duties to the housekeeping staff.
    • Monitor and ensure staff performance and productivity.
  2. Quality Control:

    • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
    • Ensure adherence to cleanliness standards and hotel policies.
    • Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to housekeeping.
  3. Inventory Management:

    • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping items.
    • Place orders for supplies and equipment as needed.
    • Monitor usage to prevent wastage and manage costs effectively.
  4. Budget Management:

    • Prepare and manage the housekeeping department budget.
    • Track expenses and ensure departmental costs remain within the budget.
  5. Training and Development:

    • Develop and implement training programs for housekeeping staff.
    • Encourage continuous improvement and professional development among team members.
  6. Coordination with Other Departments:

    • Liaise with the front office, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
    • Communicate effectively to ensure guest requests and special requirements are met.

Required Qualifications

  1. Relevant Experience:
    • Several years of experience in housekeeping or a related area within the hospitality industry.
    • Previous supervisory or management experience is often preferred.
  2. Experience with Hotel Operations:
    • Knowledge of hotel operations and understanding of guest service principles.
  3. Good knowledge of Armenian and English.
