Head of Sales at Stellar Hotels is an executive-level manager responsible for maximizing sales and profitability by overseeing all hotels' sales activities. He/she works closely with the General Manager to develop and implement sales strategies for various market segments, with a focus on maximizing revenue and occupancy thus increasing market share. In addition to these responsibilities, Head of Sales will work closely with other departments within the hotel chain, such operations, guest experience and revenue management, to ensure that all sales efforts are aligned and integrated into the overall business strategy.

- Develop and invest Sales Strategy meant to increase business profitability.
- Establish sales short-term and long-term goals in accordance with market trends
- Conduct market research and set fact-based development policy
- Generate new business ideas to increase market share
- Evaluate market trends and evaluate competition
- Conduct efficient communication pipe-lines with clientele
- Oversee and ensure the update of rates, and promotions on the hotel website, OTA’s (Online travel agents), GDS, etc. without any rate parity.
- Work with sales managers to ensure understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy
- Responsible for the training of sales managers and staff.
- Follow and promote hotel standards with guests, and co-workers.
- Organize travel agent appreciation rates for slow months.
- Review and approve any special corporate negotiated rates.
- Evaluate and drive the hotel’s participation in the various sales channels, Market Sales, Event Booking Centres, electronic lead channels, etc.
- Represent the Hotel Chain at various industry tradeshows, conferences, and adhere to the guidelines of the Company
- Make reports to higher management as required.

- Solid knowledge of Armenian, Russian and English languages
- Solid understanding of industry market
