Procurement specialist for US Market (night shift)

We are the official Armenian subsidiary of Square Signs LLC, USA. We are leaders in the outdoor signage industry, providing a wide range of outdoor advertising solutions, from printed media to 3D signage, illuminated and monumental signs, and more.

We are looking for an experienced Procurement specialist to take the end-to-end lead in the procurement of supplies and materials for our US-based manufacturing company.

This position is on the night shift, with hours of Monday-Friday from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM, with a 1-hour break. We work from the office.

Job responsibilities

• Purchase materials, supplies and machinery for outdoor sign manufacturing process.
• Continuously analyze the market (locally and globally) to find the best suppliers and supply channels for specific materials for the best quality/price.
• Compare available goods with industry markets to determine appropriate pricing.
• Initiate and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
• Track inventory and restock goods when needed.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and new products / supplies.
• Regularly report to management about stock status, suppliers and markets, come up with improvement suggestions.

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience of work as purchasing or procurement specialist in an importing company, in construction or outdoor advertising or printing industries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Good research skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fast learning
• Detail orientation
• Good English for negotiating with US suppliers.
