Description
The External Relations and Import Specialist is responsible for managing communication with international partners, coordinating import operations, and ensuring the timely preparation and submission of documentation required for the import of plant protection products, fertilizers, and other agricultural inputs. The role serves as the primary liaison between the company, foreign manufacturers, logistics providers, and customs brokers.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with international manufacturers, suppliers, and business partners.
- Coordinate meetings, negotiations, and follow-up communications with foreign partners.
- Prepare commercial and technical correspondence.
- Represent the company in communications with international organizations and partners.
- Coordinate the import process for plant protection products, fertilizers, and agricultural inputs.
- Monitor shipment schedules and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics companies.
- Ensure all import documentation is complete and complies with national regulations.
- Track shipments and resolve import-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export, external relations or international trade.
- Excellent written and spoken Armenian and English. Russian is highly desirable.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat (PDF editing)
- Experience with ERP or CRM systems is an advantage.
