Business Development Manager — Industrial IoT & Networking Solutions
NEXA LLC
About the role
NEXA is expanding its portfolio of industrial connectivity and networking products and is looking for a Business Development Manager (Sales Manager) to build and grow this line of business in Armenia and the wider region. You will own the go-to-market: opening new accounts, developing the reseller and partner channel, and turning a strong product range into recurring revenue. This is a commercial role, not a technical one, but you will be selling technology, so you need to genuinely understand what you sell and speak the customer's language.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for the product line, and own the revenue targets.
- Identify and open opportunities across key verticals (banking and retail, transport and logistics, energy and utilities, telecom, industry, and the public sector).
- Build a qualified pipeline: prospecting, meetings, product presentations, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
- Recruit, onboard and support resellers, integrators and channel partners.
- Position solutions to customers: understand their needs, map the right products, and clearly explain the value and the return on investment.
- Coordinate with suppliers/vendors on pricing, availability, promotions and training.
- Work with pre-sales and technical colleagues on demos, proofs of concept and tenders.
- Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline and reporting in the CRM.
- Represent NEXA at meetings, demos and industry events.
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally in IT, networking, telecom, electronics or a related technology field.
- Comfortable with networking and IoT connectivity concepts (for example cellular 4G/5G, routers and gateways, switches, VPN and remote device management) — able to understand and confidently present the technology without being a hands-on technician.
- Proven ability to build a pipeline and consistently hit sales targets.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of the local business landscape and decision-makers.
- Fluent Armenian and Russian; professional English.
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable owning results.
- Driving licence is a plus.
Additional notes
- Working hours: 9:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday.
- Based in Yerevan, on-site.
- Compensation: competitive base salary plus performance-based commission.
- Product training and ongoing enablement provided.
- A rare chance to build a growing product line from the ground up, with real ownership and room to progress.
