Yerevan Haybusak University (YHU) is announcing a competition for the key strategic position of Chief of Staff / Human Resources Manager. Reporting directly to the top management of YHU, this role assumes responsibility for increasing organizational effectiveness, coordinating strategic initiatives, and leading the human resources sector. Responsibilities
Strategic and Operational Management (Chief of Staff)։
- Act as a strategic partner and advisor to the Rector and YHU management.
- Ensure the implementation of YHU strategic initiatives and monitor the progress of important projects of the subdivisions.
- Manage the optimization of processes to increase the university's efficiency.
Human Resources Management (HRM)։
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy in line with the goals of the university․
- Manage the full employee cycle: talent attraction, introduction and adaptation (onboarding), performance management, professional development and employee retention․
- Ensure compliance with the RA labour legislation and develop up-to-date HR policies․
- Contribute to forming and developing the university’s internal culture, promoting a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in business administration, public administration, human resources management or related field․
- At least 7 years of work experience in administrative, operational or HR management positions․
- Proven experience in strategic planning and project management․
- In-depth knowledge of RA labour legislation and HR best practices․
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and high emotional intelligence․
- Ability to work with confidential information․
- Good command of English.

Yerevan Haybusak University (YHU) was founded in 1991 in times of the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the restoration of the independence of Armenia. Responding to the challenges of the emerging education system for the newly independent country and with its primary goal of creating an accessible academic environment for applicants, regardless of their financial capabilities, the University became a centre for new thinking and academic and professional development. It is a multidisciplinary university complex comprising four institutes and 40 clinical and specialised centres.
