Description

“BDO Accounting, Tax and Legal” CJSC is looking for a Accountant, who will be responsible for the tax and accountancy tasks in the frames of customer’s and the company’s interests, particularly will be responsible for the provision of payroll service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process payroll on a monthly basis.
  • Supervise and execute clients’ daily accounting transactions.
  • Oversee the preparation of initial accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Supervise and prepare payment documentation.
  • Manage documentation required for transactions with clients’ bank accounts.
  • Supervise the bookkeeping of clients’ fixed assets and inventory/material assets.
  • Calculate and prepare payment documentation for taxes and fees due to tax authorities.
  • Support the development and implementation of new services and business initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as required for the successful execution of company projects and goals.

Requirements

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting, ideally in an accounting and consulting firm,
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, and RA tax and accounting laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., 1C, AS).
  • Good working knowledge of English; knowledge of Russian is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
