Python Developer (ERPNext/Frappe)

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Python Developer to join our growing technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about modern web development and eager to build enterprise-grade applications alongside experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend ERPNext/Frappe back‑end modules (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, etc.).
• Craft and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate with external systems.
• Design and optimize MariaDB schemas, ensuring performance and data integrity.
• Write clear, testable Python code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of solid Python experience, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, well‑tested code.
• Deep understanding of relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL), including schema design, indexing and query tuning.
• Strong grasp of REST principles and API development.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments, using Git and collaborating in agile teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a passion for learning new technologies and delivering elegant solutions.

Good‑to‑Have

• Hands‑on experience with ERPNext/Frappe custom apps and “bench” commands.
• Familiarity with ERPNext core modules (Manufacturing, CRM, HR).
• Exposure to background jobs, scheduler hooks and Jinja templating.
