Role Overview

We are looking for a Middle IT Systems & Network Engineer to join IT Support LLC and provide professional technical support and infrastructure management for our clients and internal environments.
The role is a hands-on infrastructure position covering day-to-day administration, maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement of IT environments. The engineer will work across server and network infrastructure, virtualization, cloud services, endpoints, security, backup and remote-access systems.
The ideal candidate can independently handle common infrastructure tasks and technical incidents, investigate problems systematically, implement changes safely, and escalate more complex issues when specialist or senior-level support is required.
Because IT Support LLC works with different organizations and technology environments, the engineer must be adaptable, comfortable learning new platforms, and able to work professionally both remotely and on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems
- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure and systems.
- Perform routine administration, maintenance, updates and configuration changes.
- Monitor system health, investigate incidents and resolve recurring technical problems.
Network & Connectivity
- Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, wireless, firewall, VPN and remote-access environments.
- Support network changes, connectivity issues, infrastructure upgrades and site deployments.
Security, Backup & Reliability
- Support endpoint security, access controls, system hardening and security monitoring.
- Maintain backup processes and assist with recovery, disaster recovery and business continuity.
Cloud, Endpoints & IT Support
- Support cloud services, user accounts, workstations, laptops, virtual desktops, printers and other IT systems.
- Provide Level 2 remote and on-site technical support and handle escalated infrastructure incidents.
Projects & Documentation
- Participate in infrastructure implementations, migrations, upgrades and office deployments.
- Maintain technical documentation, service records and infrastructure configurations.
Key Experience & Skills
Essential
- 3+ years of professional IT infrastructure, systems or network administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
- Practical virtualization experience with VMware ESXi/vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, NAT, VPN and WAN technologies.
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls and enterprise Wi-Fi; preferably MikroTik, Sophos, Checkpoint, Ubiquiti/UniFi and Cisco.
- Experience with backup/recovery, endpoint protection and infrastructure monitoring.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace.
- Basic Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, communicate with clients and document technical work.
Desirable
- Veeam or other enterprise backup platforms; Synology/NAS/storage.
- Zabbix, PRTG or similar monitoring platforms.
- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure, IP PBX/IP phones, site-to-site VPN and multi-site environments.
- PowerShell, Bash or other scripting/automation.
- EDR/XDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, ITIL and/or ISO 27001 knowledge.
- Relevant vendor certifications and previous MSP/IT outsourcing experience.

Compensation & Language
Salary: $900–$1,400 gross/month, depending on experience, technical skills and responsibility.
English: Good written and spoken English is required for communication with international clients and technical teams.
