We are looking for an experienced Accountant who will be part of the Accounting team and will be involved in carrying out accounting transactions of companies day to day operations.

The main responsibilities include reconciling bank statements and making appropriate entries in accounting software, calculating tax payments and returns, preparing various reports for managerial purposes, controlling the cash collection process of the company, doing other tasks and actively involved in initial bookkeeping process of the company delivered by chief accountant. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.

Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out bookkeeping of initial entries
• Prepare various accounting and managerial reports
• Publish financial statements in time
• Reconcile accounts payables and receivables, as well as bank statements with AS software
• Working with AS Accounting software and with online banking systems
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations

Requirements

• 2 years work experience as an Accountant
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge of tax and related legislation
• Profound experience with ArmSoft and online banking systems
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Proficiency in English and Russian
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• ACCA or relative designations will be a strong plus
