Database Administrator

Description

We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our databases. The ideal candidate will ensure database performance, security, availability, and integrity while supporting business operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain database systems.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries.
• Perform database backup and recovery procedures.
• Ensure data security and compliance with company policies.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide technical support.
• Manage user access and permissions.
• Collaborate with developers and IT teams on database-related projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with SQL and database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle Database, or PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and security practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
