Description

FLYONE ARMENIA is looking for a Claims Specialist to join its professional team.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, registering, and reviewing passenger claims and inquiries;
  • Analyzing circumstances related to flight delays, cancellations, baggage issues, refunds, and other cases related to air transportation;
  • Preparing official responses to passengers, government authorities, and other relevant stakeholders;
  • Coordinating with Operations, Commercial, Airport, and other departments to obtain the necessary information;
  • Reviewing documents and data related to bookings, tickets, flights, and ancillary services;
  • Assessing the validity of compensation and refund claims in accordance with applicable rules and legislation;
  • Handling inquiries from government authorities and preparing relevant explanations and responses;
  • Maintaining the claims database, monitoring response deadlines, and preparing reports;
  • Cooperating with the Legal Department on complex and disputed cases.

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in Law;
  • Previous experience in the aviation industry will be a significant advantage;
  • Experience in handling claims, customer inquiries, or working in a legal environment;
  • Knowledge of consumer protection and/or air transportation legislation will be an advantage;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with documents and large volumes of information;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Armenian, Russian, and English;
  • Strong business correspondence skills;
  • High attention to detail, responsibility, and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to handle conflict situations and provide well-grounded solutions;
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Will Be Considered an Advantage:

  • Practical experience working for an airline, airport, or travel company;
  • Knowledge of conditions of carriage and airline ticket refund and exchange rules;
  • Experience handling passenger claims related to flight delays/cancellations, baggage, and ancillary services;
  • Knowledge of international regulations and conventions governing air transportation, including the Montreal Convention;
  • Experience communicating with government authorities and preparing official responses.
