Responsibilities
- Assist audit teams throughout the engagement lifecycle, including planning, fieldwork, completion, and reporting stages.
- Perform assigned audit procedures in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA), Crowe Global Audit Methodology, and the firm’s audit programs and internal policies.
- Support Audit Seniors, Managers, Directors, and Partners in the effective execution of audit engagements.
- Obtain and organize financial information, accounting records, contracts, invoices, bank statements, and other supporting documentation from clients.
- Perform basic audit procedures under the supervision and guidance of senior audit team members.
- Prepare account listings, lead schedules, reconciliations, and other audit working papers.
- Participate in inventory counts, cash counts, and other physical verification procedures.
- Document the audit procedures performed, evidence obtained, and conclusions reached in the audit software.
- Assist the audit team in identifying accounting discrepancies, control deficiencies, and potential audit issues.
- Assist senior team members in documenting control weaknesses and preparing draft audit findings.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to the efficient organization and timely completion of audit engagements.
- Maintain the confidentiality of client and firm information.
- Comply with the firm’s independence, ethical, quality-management, and information-security requirements.
- Participate in internal training programs and continuously develop knowledge of IFRS, ISA, accounting, taxation, and audit methodology.
- Perform other audit-related tasks assigned by Audit Seniors, Managers, Directors, or Partners.
Requirements
- At least Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Hard working and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work overtimes.
- Minimal accounting knowledge is mandatory.
- Organization, social, technical, auditing skills to work efficiently with clients and staff
- Being able to multi-task since planning (flexibility in tasks), executing, and wrapping up various engagements may have to be performed concurrently
- Your ability to perform research on technical matters prior to submitting for manager review is important
- Business English skills both in read and written forms, knowledge of Russian is preferred
- Accounting experience will be preferable.
- Good knowledge of MS office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), etc.
