Store Manager

Description

The Store manager is the direct manager of all operations. He is in charge of looking after all the employees in the store that is under his responsibility and is responsible for the financial results of the store. The objective is to reach the financial target set forward by the budget and forecast. The Store manager has the responsibility of the Profit and loss of his store, with a specific focus on the sales, margin (+ waste/shrinkage), staff cost and operational expenses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper conservation, utilization and profitability of store’s assets.
• Respect national concepts
• Respect and ensure the respect of security and hygiene procedures (assets and employees) in the store.
• Guarantee the quality, the application and protection of company’s Know-How in the store.
• Guarantee the quality of basic services offered to customers in the store.
• Stay informed about competition activities in the store’s catchments’ area and take necessary measures.
• Guarantee a clear image of assortment, quality and discount in the store.
• Ensure the right ordering of the items in the store.
• Ensure the quality of product presentation in the Store.
• Guarantee the sales dynamics and retailtainment (attractive display, ambiance…. etc) in the Store.
• Guarantee the correct application of merchandise plan/ layouts.
• Propose and take necessary measures towards maximization/optimization of the sales and margins.
• Propose and take necessary measures towards the reduction of the distribution cost.
• Guarantee competitiveness and the expected margin levels.
• Ensure the stock level is according to the budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in BA, Management or relevant tot this position
• Bachelor + 3 years, with a solid background in retail stores operations
• Excellent or b2 level of English language and MS office
• Management
• Technical Retail knowledge
