Description

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Director. We need a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track records in sales. Primary duties include collaborating with senior team to set company strategy, implementing a sales plan to drive revenue growth. Sales director responsibilities include designing and developing strategic sales plans, tactics and action plans hitting annual targets, motivating sales team, building relationships and understanding customer trends, and assessing costs and competition. In addition to being an excellent communicator, the ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills. Sales Director is responsible for managing all sales operations for business, drafting sales reports, and estimating sales profit for products. The successful candidate will be energetic, persuasive and well organized and able to demonstrate the ability to sell.

Responsibilities

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets․
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales goals and expand customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels to grow customer loyalty.
  • Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Manage team and build cooperation with different departments of the company
  • Lead and motivate staff to improve customer service with clients.
  • Develop and promote weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives.
  • Draft detailed and accurate sales reports.
  • Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
  • Understand market trends and adapt to industry changes.
  • Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products.
  • Make commercial recommendations to the board of directors.
  • Carry out risk assessment when taking on new markets.
  • Negotiate ongoing contracts with suppliers and B2B customers.
  • Establish a sales training program to train new employees.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in marketing, business administration or a relevant field.
  • Previous proven experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director.
  • Minimum of 5-year experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Ability to prepare reports and use of appropriate mode of communication.
  • Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Keen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to problems.
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to read and decipher financial reports and records.
  • Ability to travel if needed.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, CRM
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point.
