We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help ensure the quality and functionality of our software through both manual and automated testing. This role focuses on identifying, reporting, and helping resolve bugs and system issues, ensuring smooth operation of our applications and platforms. The perfect candidate is detail-oriented, communicates well, and has a strong passion for delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and review system specifications to understand testing requirements.
Collaborate with fellow QA engineers to create comprehensive test strategies and plans.
Perform both manual and automated test cases and thoroughly analyze the results.
Ensure product code aligns with technical specifications.
Document testing phases and track identified defects.
Report bugs and issues to the development team in a clear and timely manner.
Assist with troubleshooting when issues arise.
Participate in post-deployment testing to verify product stability.
Work alongside cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or similar role.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing practices is a plus.
Ability to document and investigate errors effectively.
Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills:

Basic knowledge of the HTTP 1.x protocol.
Understanding of data formats like JSON, XML, and URL-encoded data.
General knowledge of API principles (REST, RPC).
Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
Basic understanding of how web applications operate and the page rendering process.
Experience with main web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and their debugging tools.
