IT Specialist

•Maintenance of IT infrastructure (network, workstations, servers and POS’s ) following all procedures and schedules

• Ensuring security configuration updates and Ensuring maximum redundancy with optimal configuration

• Install patches for the Operating System and create system copies of data

• Guarantee of minimum time of non-functionality that does not affect the business.

• Monitoring of all warning systems at the application level.

• Identification of necessary investments related to information technologies

• Application of security policies and control of potential intrusions

• Follow up fiscal changes and coordination with local supplier on resolving issues/requirements

• Maintenance of updated user databases and profiles in applications: setting up new users, modifying existing profiles, managing approvals

• Ensuring minimal downtime as well as optimal performance at the application level

• Application-level customer support as well as hardware issues

• Training plan with application users at the request of the management

• Monitoring of hardware resources and proposal for its renewal

• Adherence to company rules

• Ensuring maximum redundancy with optimal configuration.

• Monitoring the Wincor POS system at all times within 24 hours and ensuring the availability of technical services at all times.

• Ensuring that the Wincor system is operational and in good condition at all times and that staff are trained to operate and use this system

• Monitoring and maintaining system backups (with the consent of the head of the sector) for all server applications and providing regular checks on the execution of system copies

• Daily support of retail processes (posting and control of sales figures, resolving discrepancies on a daily basis)

Requirements

• •VI degree, electrical engineering

  •2 years of work experience in similar jobs

  •Knowledge of English language
