ARGE BUSINESS LLC is looking for an experienced professional to join our team!

Aa a Chief Accountant you will supervise and allocate the work of the Accountancy Section, provide accountancy support to all business areas, and ensure the effective operation of a number of corporate systems and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Company's asset list, organize regular inventory checks, ensure proper records of assets, their depreciation, revaluation and disposal, small value items and consumables;
  • Prepare monthly payroll, calculate, and transfer staff salaries and other salary equivalents, income tax and other taxes, liabilities;
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and other periodical reports to local tax authorities in line with the Armenian legislation, as well as provide upon the Supervisor's request other reports, notes, and information;
  • Monitor changes in the Tax legislation and advise the CFO on any changes that may affect the budget, operations and activities of the Company;
  • Make error-free accounting reports and present their results;
  • Review and recommend changes in accounting systems and procedures;
  • Participate in the establishment of financial standards;
  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance;
  • Plan, assign and review the staff's work;
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;

Requirements

Knowledge

  • Higher education, in Finance/Accounting, Economics or other related field;
  • At least 7+ years of work experience as an Accountant, and 3+ years of work experience as a Chief Accountant;
  • Availability of Chief Accountant's qualification certificate issued by the RA Ministry of Finance;
  • Excellent knowledge of tax legislation of the Republic of Armenia;
  • Excellent knowledge of Armenian and international accounting standards;
  • Computer program excellent literacy: MS Office (advanced level of Excel), 1C, AS, E- invoicing;
  • Excellent knowledge of Armenian, Russian and English languages;
