Live Trading Department at Digitain is organized in cross-departmental value streams. We are now looking to strengthen our team with a Head of Live Trading to take leadership of Compiling Odds, Risk Management, Product Optimization, and In-Play trading across the different teams in the company.

During the period from 2019-2020, the number of served events in the Trading Department has increased to 400,000. If you are ready to take the challenge of increasing the quantity and quality of served events in the coming years by investing your experience and knowledge, then this is the role you need.

The position calls for a responsible team player with interest in sport disciplines and a perfect understanding of rules and current events. Applicants must have a high degree of personal commitment, initiative, responsible for effective Cross-department communication. They should have experience of working and delivering within a high-pressured environment with multiple priorities. 

Responsibilities

  • Organize meetings with different team leaders, identify problems within the teams, and develop action plans for resolving those problems 
  • Study the market conditions and the international experience of live trading and come up with new ideas by developing more effective or efficient processes and strategies
  • Ensure traders are effectively utilized 
  • Ensure effective work of traders (provide the necessary number of qualified staff, make pre-division changes, arrange schedules, increase employees’ work efficiency)
  • Manage the work of the team and contribute the effective use of staff potential
  • Define SMART goals and set the tools for measuring them in line with company strategy
  • Define the expected results, coordinate their delivery and, where appropriate, take corrective action to ensure the viability of the work
  • Manage risks, issues and take corrective action
  • Ensure effective communication among different units
  • Provide suggestions for improving project performance
  • Generating reports and presenting information to upper-level managers or other parties
  • Ensuring staff members follow company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
     

Requirements 

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Management, or related field
  • Highly dynamic and active personality with proven experience of team management
  • Experience in iGaming and betting industry is an asset
  • Passion for sports and trading is a must 
  • Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Time and project management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership skills with a high sense of decisiveness  
  • Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to customers and support to staff members
  • Fluency in English and Russian languages
  • MS Office skills
