Python Full-Stack Developer

Description

As the Python Django Full Stack engineer for a 6 year old medical health technology company, you will help develop, update, and maintain core services and front-end layers of our Oklahoma based pharmaceutical patient tracking portal that provides life improving technology to people in our region. You will be responsible for delivering both front and back-end code and will help develop a plan to make our tracking portal more responsive. You will get the opportunity to work with peripheral hardware as we were the first Epson client to deliver secure thermal printing solutions in the wild. Our software has a real mission that makes a difference in people’s lives.

Responsibilities

• Assist us in updating our Python and Django applications
• Develop critical reporting tools for government and pharmacy audits
• Replace and outdated Angular with lightweight JS frameworks
• Work with QA team to set into place test code coverage
• Outline and own business requests

Requirements

• 6+ Years experience experience with Python
• 3+ years with Django
• Understanding of Angular and React JS frameworks a plus
• Experience in high availability environments
• You place strong value on software quality controls
• You understand behavioral or test driven development
• Strong understanding of Architectural Design Patterns
• Experience working with sensitive (HIPAA) data design and security procedures
• Ability work in a distributed team using agile methodologies
• An eye for design would be great
• Exposure to docker is nice
